If this lock is on an exterior door just be sure that any other of your locks are open before addressing the door knob that turns but won t open.

You can do this by using the phillips head screw driver to unscrew both screws on the door handle.
Turn off the sure lock aka vacation mode on the wall console check if limits are properly set.

Fun fact after opening the lock with the lever method you can lock it again and in many cases it will continue working with the key.

Ok i started stalker over and am having a problem.
Make sure the lock is unlocked before you do this.
A good quality screwdriver some leverage and a practiced hand can open any cheap to medium quality lock.
Then i screwed up and hit my quick load key instead of quick save and had to do the whole mess over again p thankfully the door is open now and i can finally trade my gear and get some quests i hadn t gotten yet.
