In this paper we have described an effective implementation of an intelligent remote monitoring system for solar photovoltaic pv power conditioning unit pcu which is used in a greenhouse environment. We use arduino based system to monitor a 10watt solar panel parameters.

With advancement of technologies the cost of renewable energy equipments is going down globally encouraging large scale solar photovoltaic installations. Using the internet of things technology for supervising solar photovoltaic power generation can greatly enhance the performance monitoring and maintenance of the plant. This monitoring is done through raspberry pi using flask framework. Solar power plant is described in this paper.

The proposed system design can be installed in solar pv pcu in order to solve management problems maintenance and shortens the mean time to repair. Our system constantly monitors the solar panel and transmits the power output to iot system over the internet.
